A FORMER ballet dancer has turned a previous injury into a business advantage by launching Lancashire’s first Pilates studio.

Keely Haigh has opened Lancashire Pilates Studio, in Nelson, after she discovered the effectiveness of pilates following knee surgery.

She was training to be a professional dancer at the Northern Ballet School, in Manchester, when she sustained the injury.
